Joking aside, This may have already been stated and I over looked it in this thread, but just wondering was the name "blank.com" or are you using it as a place holder for the actual name?
what you should have done is given him a affiliate url to your appraisal company of choice and made a buck.
If the name was in fact blank.com you know it would get a fare appraisal.

Domain idiot of the day #3 - me.
I had been advertising on this forum that I was looking for LLLL's with OBX at the beginning or end.
The other night, before turning in around 2:30 am, I saw OBXQ.com which actually would fit into the mix and the plans very well. So I entered a proxy bid, went to bed, and slept good.
Woke up the next morning and saw I won okxq.com.
Never ever will I look at auctions again when I am tired as hell.
