Is it possible to check if a domain has been blocked or banned by Google?

I think it is if you email their support rep

I guess that means that there is no online tool for you to check if a site's been banned then? :(

The quickest way to know whether a site is included in the google index is to enter:
"site:www.domain.com"
in Google (without the quotes).

If it is in the index it will come up with a result. If not, it doesn't mean the domain is banned, just not included in Google.

If google shows no listing you could look up archive.org to see if the domain was ever historically included anywhere.

After that, try emailing Google.

TemplateMonster.com is a strange case, I'd like to see the history about their "ban".

The thing is, they have a PR0, which for the amount of backlinks they have, does not sum up. However, the site IS listed, by using "site:templatemonster.com".

So. maybe the got their PR0 from a mistake on url redirection or something like that ?

If you spam Google with database-generated links, eventually you get banned.
The method posted by M90 is correct.

Add ebay and paypal on the list of the useless giants that outsource their support to third world countries.
