domain ransom incident

The domain registrar that had m00.com (I won't mention which one) I tried to transfer it to my native registrar namecheap, but they took a week so I emailed them.

I'm trying to transfer out m00.com and it has taken a week and still waiting for you to approve it.

The 72 hours has expired.

I couldn't be bothered moving the stack of CDs on my scanner so I replied.

That's absurd taking a week and then telling me I have to submit ID. Where does it say you have to submit ID?

Hurry up and transfer it out, in 24 hours I'll be posting this message on DNForum that you hold domains to ransom.

There are some shady registrars out there - was this one of the big players or a small one?

Most of the shady ones I've dealt with were small ones from drop catching.

I was checking out the 5 cow rating gifs at tucows going to do something similar for m00.com and they only rate between 3 and 5 cows, there is no 2 cows! :lol:
