Domain Redirecting from a different URL, SEO affected?

Hello

If, for example, my website's URL is 'domain.com' and I also own the name 'domaib.com', when I redirect domaib.com to domain.com, would this affect my search rankings on top search providers (google etc)

Many thanks in advance!
 
it depends on what page of "domain.com" you redirect "domaib.com" to, and what the "actual domain name is" and whether it's used to display content or not.


for instance, i own urlpick.com

and also reusableconstructionmaterials.com, which is pointed to urlpick.com/reusableconstructionmaterials.html


both are listed in google and one is on 1st page for keywords
