I sold a non-TM domain some time ago to a member of this forum. Because it was my first name sold I didn't exactly know how to do it. I transfered the name to him without changing the whois contact information first. Now the name still has my information but the reg time has been extended with 2 years from the date of transfer. The name is still undeveloped.

My questions:
1. Will I be billed after those two years?
2. Are there any other (dis)advantages if the contact info isn't changed?
3. Is there a way I can change this information? I don't know the info for the current owner though...

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. Probubly not, its in his account not yours.

2. If the new owner does bad things with the Domain, like spamming, someone might check the whois and you could get in trouble I would imagine, a few headaches for sure.

3. I dont think so.

Contact the member and ask them to change the whois info.

If you transfer (push) a domain, you may want to change certain vital data before you do so. It could save some headaches.

Unfortunately the current owner does not answer any of the emails I sent him. (maybe he is dead or something... )
