I honestly doubt it was a stupid question. whois likes to find out where the various registrars are affiliating themselves to which drop service.

Yes, it would not be a stupid question if a newbie was asking. However, Whois-Search is supposed to be a drop expert(!). He has been monitoring(!) drops and publishing top drops(!) on his site.

He could easily get the answer in 10 seconds by visiting both dd24 and snapnames sites.

I insist that it was a stupid question.

domaindiscount24 is on the front of Snapnames

However on the 13th November they got ton.org for www.domaincatcher.de

That suggests domaincatcher.de is a new club drop and domaindiscount24 catch for them.

Snapnames always take a while to update there front page.

They also beat the likes of Pool and Namewinner to a good .org

Maybe I should right my post like this next time.

Domaincatcher.de is just a new outlet of domainname.at which catch drops for themselves and a few clients since a while.As it seems domaincatcher is purely designed catching for other registrars and not for endusers.
