I used to own DOMAINLISTS.COM till 2 months ago and let it expire because it was getting 10/15 visit per month, today the name has dropped and has a bid at NW of $ 556.00, seems for someone has value.

please give your thoght about this type of names.

i actually like the name a lot. perfect for someone who wants
to start a domain lists service.

of course, until you receive an offer, you'll just be sitting on it so
i don't blame you for letting it drop.

great for development, and that's about it.

I like it too! It was nice name, I would have not let it drop,

i would have dropped it.

Actually I would have liked this name.

I think DomainLists.com is a good name. But, it wasn't making you any money so you dropped it. No problem.

I guess your regret is - "Gee, maybe I should have kept it. And, sold it to someone?"

That is why some of the members on this forum are smart about offering the names they are going to let drop. It's better to get something, then nothing.

Good generic name for people running a service similar to Exody or DeletedDomains. I don't think that many people could have used it for something useful. But would have definately posted it here before letting it go. This would have been the best place to find an end-user for it.

Don't worry Mike! You have so many other goodies :)

I think it's a nice name.

no regret mike. :)
cheers.

I certainly would have listed it for sale here. 'Domain' and 'Name' .COMs are pretty warm here as the target end user audience is right here. An auction may have been a good idea. I'd certainly rather have someone here owning a decent name that I didn't need rather than Buy Domains, et al, getting it.

We all win, loose and mess up some though and in the whole mix of things, this is a very minor 'live and learn ' situation!
