if it gets some type in traffic its a good somewhat-generic domain,..if not..I am sure there might be some crazy fan out there who is willing to pay low to mid $xxx

it might not mean much to people who don't know what doraemon is, but however, it is huge in Asia and it is not a seasonal manga/anime.

Doraemon is a cultural symbol of Japan and HUGE amount of merchandise is based on Doraemon. What makes this anime/manga series immortal is that even after more than 30 yrs of it being drawn, there are still NEW Doraemon movies coming out each year. The latest one is coming out next month in Japan.

i think a good measure in this case is really how much traffic you get to see how big it really is..so whats the traffic?

Doraemon is one of my favorite comics all the time!
I had checked doraemon related domains before, but I was afraid that it may have potential TM problem so I didn't take anyone... :/

I remember that there is a comic store (or internet cafe) named City Hunter in downtown Sydney.

thanks for the info, I will join. In fact, I am looking into developing both cityhunter.com and doraemon.net. (The stupid sedo wouldn't switch the parking under my account and is still keeping the parking page under the old owner's!!! and it's been nearly 2 weeks since I assumed ownership of doraemon.net )

However, it is going to be huge effort and perhaps a partner is what I need


Back to thread topic tho, any appraisal for "doraemon.net" 's value?
