I don't like it personally. I prefer moniker or godaddy or enom.

Generally ok.

But I don't like the multiple sending of renewal reminders when the domain is no longer registered with them. Most annoying.

Personally I prefer enom.com

Use their cousin, www.mydomain.com. They use the Dotster control panel and only cost $8.50 (Dotster $15) and include url/email forwarding and dns management at no extra cost (which Dotster charge extra for each). Their (and Doster's) checkout can be a bit quirky but you get used to it, and it's not a biggie really.

their domain control and management systems are not very user friendly imo. i have been a customer since about 2000; i used to be a regular customer but when their domain fees stayed the same, instead of coming down as the years progressed, and they failed to answer inquiries promptly or accurately, i basically gave up on them with reference to new business.

It's ok. Not great (the CP), then who is?. You can ask them for discount. You have to post queries via the web interface (no emails). Like most registrars, they take 1-2 days to respond. Pretty good for the price and included extras, like forwarding (MyDomain).
