i have made my whois script do "if dotster for .org only show pir whois"

I have a number of domains with NW that have not been updated with ownership name. But, I keep a running spreadsheet so they don't fall between the cracks.

On that same morning I picked up

22CN.org..................... ownership listed.
TimeShareSales.org ... ownership listed.
1-9.org.........................ownership not listed.

And, I was billed for them.

The domain Who-is is very good at retreiving most Domains and the information held for them. The exception to this is the .ORG extension. We do recommend that if you have a .ORG domain that you check it at pir.org as they are the originating source for this and will have the latest update.
