Am I too used to Tucows/OpenSRS' REAL-TIME whois updates that I can't even bear a few hours? I'm mad that even when I had already got their e-mail confirmation saying that it's done, THEIR OWN whois still shows the old info after more than 3 hours! Just another reason for me to transfer it away.

Just got this from their support:
Domain contact information is shown in the whois databases but only after 48 hours from the last update.
Come ON! 48 hours? Can't believe it!

usually 24 hours for me & Dotster.

Yeah, it's just been updated, but only after more than 8 hours. What takes them so long? With Tucows/OpenSRS, it's INSTANT!

Maybe they batch process new registrations?

It's not a newly registered domain; it's one I bought from a fellow member here today. Actually, it expires in about a month's time, so you could guess I will be transferring it away very soon. ;)
