i provided hanna and DCG with the script they need to create individual
accounts for every DNF (Plat) member, this way you could actually put to use
such great features as keyword filtering (you enter your keywords once and
it assumes them for all lists), filtering by min/max overture and linkpop, daily
e-mails of lists matching only YOUR criteria, etc.
obviously, if there is 500 people using the same account, its impossible to
put these features to use, and there will always be problems because one
person might filter out certain lists and everyone will think that the service
doesn't work.
the service was designed to be used on individual accounts, so one account
for the entire DNF community isn't too good of an idea. hopefully giantdomains
or someone could pull the DNF plat list, insert the e-mails into the script and
everyone will get their own lifetime account.
