Early Domains, eg SCVCS[dot]com What are they worth?
Symbolics.com was the first .com registered and it was I think 1985 and sold to an investor. The first 200 domains were by the end of 1987 or beginning of 1988 and most of them are the like of billion dollar companies(att.com,hp.com,xerox.com,boeing.com,etc)
Some of the companies failed or renamed themselves later. What would SCVCS[dot]com that dropped be worth? It was originally the 100th to 167th .com ever registered.
List of all 167 domains that were registered by 12/15/1987 :

scvcs.com is dated from 2006, prior to that means nothing as was dropped imo
maybe $100 purely out of novelty value but personally wouldnt handreg
you may get lucky and a firm with those exact acronym has been unable to reg for 20 odd years wants to buy, but dont hold breath

each of those ancient domains is different
some are not very good as hyphens or not much use, others are absolute pure gold

you can't compare your domain to the others if that's what you're suggesting
