As far as top-level domains (TLDs) are concerned, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ( ICANN ) has full control over whether or not we see new TLDs make it to the web. Can't see much use for this, most enviro groups already use .com, org or country codes. How could there be enough regs to support the management of this extension?
