I don't know if this actually works, but someone may want to try it...
When I was at www.encirca.com I noticed that if you register a .pro domain for 5 years, you can get it at $71.20/year ($356). However if you register it for six years, you pay full price of $99/year ($594). These were the prices listed in the pull-down menu for length of registration.
