I really need help folks.

I just got a new dedicated server and need to configure one of my enom domains to be used as a nameserver for the new server.

In Godaddy it is easy as there is an option that is just for that allowing you to config NS1.example.com and NS2.example.com to point to the servers IP.

In enom, I cant figure it out!

Please help!

Thanks!

Hi

Isn`t it, "domains names"-->"register DNS"

?

Hi, yes I think it is, but I keep getting this:
Failed to get registrar lock
Failed to get Registrar Lock Status
Nameserver registration failed due to error: Authorization failed
Failed to get Registrar Lock Status

********************
I unlocked the domain though...
any ideas?

Thanks!

still havent solved the problem, but I think I know what it is, and I am sure many of you might find it interesting for your future enom regs.

The name in question was caught by enom club drop.
although it is in my account, aparently, another registar caught it. so effectively, although I seem to be able to directly change things like DNS and nameservers, it doesnt work from the Enom site.

so be aware of this if you use CD
I emailed enom and am waiting now...

this is getting ridiculous.
Can anyone locate a cutomer support telephone number for Enom?
No reply, and I need my nameservers updated ASAP!

come one dnforum folks, help a fellow domainer!
Thanks!

thanks for the link...
The number from hell.
I am still waiting as I am typing this, and it is probably costing more than the worth of the domain...

Still waiting...

after more than a 30 minute telephone call (from Europe), Enom accepts that domains in Enom's account caught by CD are not fully mangeable by them.

Therefore, I again raise a caution to this issue.

and WE thought pool was bad...
enom is going down...
