yes, but look at perfect-girl.net
i dont own it, i let it expire.
the whois shows me as the owner, status :locked, not active, its in limbo
so are many other domains i am trying to catch.

That is a normal status -- it is ACTIVE + LOCK.
Furthermore, the expiration date is in 2006.

Are you sure it wasn't set to auto-renew in your account?

I am 100% sure, as it is not in my account, I did not renew it, and I have no control over it.
I tripled checked my invoices as well. The domain was not renewed...
