eNom caught a name for me via one of their partners, Virtual Internet

I sold the name but the transfer/whois verification fails due to it not finding my whois info on record.

I submitted a support ticket to eNom over 2 weeks ago and eNom has yet to resolve the issue. They just keep saying the same BS over and over and I'm getting tired going back and forth with them.

Anyone else had a similar problem? eNom dont seem to be able to help me, they say they cant reach this partner of theirs.

eNom certainly needs to smarten up when it comes to partnering with other registrars, I hold eNom 100% resposible, they billed me, I paid them.

Thanks for any help,

Mike

When I lookup the name via whois.sc and click the link to the registrar it takes me to Register.com , are they the same as this so called Virtual Internet company?

When I do a whois lookup on eNom I get my info, anywhere else returns nothing.

The problem is I cant transfer the name out to my buyers registrar as it cant confirm me owning the name as whois fails to show my info.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike, my case was for a sedo sale.
They agreed that whois.sc couldnt show it, so they went ahead to the regitrar which was an enom partner and confirmed the whois.
If Enom's whois works, why can they not accept that?
unlock the domain, and begin a request for transfer. You should get an email saying if you agree to the transfer at your contact email address.

I just found out that Virtual Internet plc is related to Register.com , that explains why this Domain is all messed up, I'm on the phone now with Register.com

I'm not sure why the eNom whois info isnt enough to get the name out but it isnt unfortunatly for some strange reason.

Thanks,

Mike
