enom web site down / major lag

i just got on a few mins ago to add my list of names for todays club drop.. and first the web site was offline... then loading really really slow... the club drop wouldn't load at all -- what is this crap.. i am pissed! i was not able to add any names that are dropping today.... anybody else have any issues with the web site? this is not good.... :dead:

yes, everything is ok now.. but around 12:30 pm est, it wasn't... for maybe 30 mins the site was down and/or laggin pretty bad.

i am sure i am not the only one to notice this... i've never really had any problems with enom's web site, today was a first...

But I was able to add my domains and also bid on them

Well I was at Namealerts.com, bought a domain..and then everything in the members area was loading really really slow, it would take like 3 - 5 minutes to load. I don't know if that is because of enom or anything though..

I also noticed that enom is lagging !
And also errors when registering names like:
- you check a domain, then you click on "add to cart", 3 minutes of loading later, it tells you that domain is already in the cart ??!!
- register a list of domains doesn't work very good as well, i'm still waiting the registration of the list (3 dn) i entered 20mn ago (hopefully i'm not hurry on these ones)

Anyway, it happens...
hope it won't affect the club drop snaps :-D

I had problems around 30 minutes before the daily deadline.

It caused me a lot of problems.

And, it really didn't comeback until 20 minutes after all of the drops.

I'm sure it effected most of us. Therefore, it also effected Enom's revenue.

I wonder what went wrong?

Hackers, system meltdown, ????

whatever it is, I am sure it is related to the downtime experienced earlier today.
it wasnt a normal downtime.

By the way, guys you shouldn't wait for the last minute to enter your club drop auctions.
I personally bid once the day become available for entering the domains (4 days in advance)
So i'm sure i won't have any problem :-D

Seeing as you need a bid of at least $30 to go into auction, if you bid $10 and then dont check back, someone might come in at the last minute and bid $30 and win it outright with no auction.
