Exchanging Homes for Vacation

I saw a special on the old boob tube the other week on the rising tendency of people to exchange homes for a vacation rather then pay for accomodations. Has anyone here tried this? What sites did you use?

The report prompted me to get a few of the good domains in the genre left too

Well, I haven't seen any sites like this (though I've heard of it), but I personally would never trust a stranger to live in my home.
