Exody plus questions

Hi

I am new to this forum but have enjoyed the reading thus far. I recently discovered the exody service and have a few questions. The exody plus service that applies a rating for names, is this on expired names or both expired and onhold? Also what are there best lists to use to try to pick up recent drops with their service. The daily available today is this for names that drop throughout the day? If so, i guess you need to be very quick to review the list to grab them? Any feedback much appreciated.

I have an Exody question too. I just ordered a subscription early this morning but all I got was a confirmation from PayPal that my money was paid. Nothing from Exody that will allow me to sign on the service. For those who use it, how did you get the information you needed (User ID & password) so you could start using it? I emailed them but no reply yet and nothing in their online FAQ about what happens after you make payment .

So it only works with Network Solutions? (and I knoe they often don't drop when they are suppossed to). If it is with another registrar is the above info of no value?

Well Dwayne says its something to do with the shared registry and that dotster ( whois.newdentity.com ) pick them up .............. they are showing up in exody because they have no whois and therefore no nameservers :

I have noticed in the end these names get whois - maybe when the customer pays dotster the catch fee.

So I always delete the "drop catching registers" and just leave Netsol. Netsol always drop the best names yes.

Yes you can get the best names from your email list
Subject : "Exody(tm) getgo.x3 Part- 1" exody send out.
- you can look at every domain at :

This is the best list.

However on the Exody Plus list - the lower the score means more traffic.

Exody Gold list is good but all those domains have been checked and are available - therefore your going to miss out if its been taken by someone faster than you or making there own lists !

I couldn't figure out what Gold or Silver were supposed to be. There is no place on the site that I can find that explains what all of these things are.

Nothing wrong with the Exody service but the site needs a major makeover and a LOT more information as to what all the lists are about and how you find what you want. I also found that the Search function does not work at all for me. When I type in something, the little icon in the browser just turns and turns but nothing is ever returned.

I signed up again for exody as I have found and regd some good names using the service.
When I re regd i didn't get an email with my username and password however it was the same as before so it was autofilled when i went to login.
I had to figure myself how everything worked and am still learning.

many times when you search the server times out so i just go back and try again, and again etc. Certain times of day there are too many people accessing the service is my best guess.

Overall the service is worth the money.

Exody service only accepts PayPal. If you do not live in a PayPal accepted country you can not use Exody. This is not fair. Could exody do something about it?

Does this mean my best chance of picking up the drops are with networksolutions by adding 5 days? If so, using Exody lists how do i know if it is networksolutions when i am searching their exody plus lists showing me the link popularity weightings? It is not listed on that list, just the link popularity weighting. These are the names i am looking at picking up?
