Another suggestion. How about a section for people who would like to sell off their domains that are about to expire. Many times people let domains expire, and don't sell them off. Selling them for a couple bucks is better then letting a domain drop while getting nothing in return.

There could be a time restriction. For example, to list a domain forsale, the domain has to be within 45 days of the expiration date.

Our auction used to require domain names to have at least 30 days before expiry. I think that *might* also apply to the sales thread (not currently enforced). And yes, there are actually quite some sales for expiring domains; however, this could also be very tricky as a) registrars differentiate when it comes to transfers that are close to expiry and names sold say a few days before expiry might not actually go through; and b) because of the lack of incentive (just a few bucks), sellers may pay less attention to these expiring sales. And FYI: we have actually officially warned at least a member who did not endorse a sale and let the name expired.

Why can't they just include a renewal in the price since the buyer will need to renew it anyway, renew it and then transfer it?
