I recently saw a thread, can't find it now, with a DNF member who tried selling a casino/gambling related domain name parked at fabulous. He linked to that domain from one of his casino related sites.

I just emailed fabulous about it and got this answer:

Hi Yury,

"
Michael is out of the office for a couple of days, so I am looking after his email until he gets back.

Linking to domains parked with Fabulous is indeed against our TOS, along with purchasing PPC traffic and advertising your domains.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,"

Guilty as Charged...

And yes linking to any parked domain at fabulous or even using frames is against the terms and conditions. Lesson learned and I removed all links.

Yury.. if there is anything you need to know then please PM me for all the details

So basically you can't promote any names you have at Fabulous?

labrocca - We regard type-in traffic to be the highest traffic source on the Internet. As such we are primarily interested in receiving this traffic. We also allow traffic from existing links in search engines such as Google and Yahoo.

We do not allow linking, redirecting or paid advertising of any domains parked on our program. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions.

I am reading those T&C now, but it seems like babbling to me, i.e.:
"The Domain(s) shall not be redirected to Independent Website(s), that...." - If I understand well, all domains parked @ Fab. has to use Fab DNS. So how could I redirect the domains ?!

And one more question - is typo domains allowed at Fab's ?

denny , they mean redirecting other domains to your parked domains at Fab , also linking to those parked domains on your own websites and such is a no-no. They have the highest payouts on their 4.0 Premium because they cut special deals with advertisers and assure them that the traffic is highly targeted through their screening process.,

yes they take typos.

No, thats not what it says, read it please:
-------------
Prohibited use of Domains
6.1 The Domain Name Owner hereby warrants and covenants that:
(a) The Domain(s) shall not be used in such a way as to mislead or deceive minors into viewing sexually explicit material, whether in breach of the provisions of H.R.939 "Truth in Domain Names Act" or otherwise (“Misleading Activity”);
(b) The Domain(s) shall not be redirected to Independent Website(s) that contain material or content (or links to such content) that:
(i) Is hateful, defamatory, derogatory or bigoted based on racial, ethnic, political grounds or may otherwise injure, damage or harm of any kind to any person or entity;
--------------------
And if they mean is not for parking but for rgistration biz, than they should not mix parking and registering into one T&C and also they have NO right to tell me, what I can do and what I can NOT do with MY domain, have they... I also signed for domain reg. and they give me "irresistible" price - $18.9 per domain...gues how many domain I would register there...

This is not what I am asking. I am questioning the T&C as I do not udnerstnd, what they mean with it. My main concern - can I park there TYPO domains ? Because they mention inthe T&C something about trade mark violation, now typos definitely AREE TM violations. I.e. I have some pokerroom.com and other typos and quesiton is - will they allow to park it there ?

No parking program allows you to park trademarked domains.. however they have to say that for legal reasons and to cover themselves.. but the truth of the matter is that all of them have massive a percentage of Trademark Domains.

I am confident that Fabulous will come back and tell you that they do not allow trademark domains..

Its kinda like Driving 35 in a 30 zone..

Well I think Fabulous can NOT come with this, because check please - all parked @ fabulous:
PPARTYPOKER.COM
PAARTYPOKER.COM
PARRTYPOKER.COM
PARTYYPOKER.COM
PARRYPOKER.COM
And so on, and so on...

What I need to know, if hey allow normal people to park trademarked domains like those, or again only for those with special agreement...
