I have a transaction with NameTower once. It was smooth and pleasant. I didnt realise he is 17 until a month ago. I am shock and I respect him for his professionalism.

Age does not matter in professionalism.

Thanks :)

Please don't ever use age as an excuse. I am 15 and I run three websites, handle my Paypal and checking account, conduct business on my sites, and sell good on eBay without a problem.

1... 2.... 3... 4 TOS' broken! :-D

Just Kidding :)

The issue has been brought up many times, so don't go
and use it as an excuse, you will just piss off the 15
and 16 year old members here who have proven that they are adult businessmen, like Nametower, and GTWeb.

But watch out for me :bandit:

PS i dont own 100's of domains i own 12 domains that are in use and rateapeep.com (which i was trying to sell now i assume the offers will be retracted) and then 4 other domains that i was planing on developing but i can sell
If you don't pay skylight back his money, I doubt anyone will buy anything from you.

You already have another potential problem with another sale of questionable ethics:
http://dnforum.com/showthread.php?p=351099

It appears based on this and your actions in the other sale that your intention may be to scam DNF members. Don't you understand we are honest business men, and as such, DO NOT go around trying to steal money from people.

two people who were originally represented as one party, a partnership.

It seems like iPBFree.com screwed Skylight over and he should be responsible for a full refund. It is up the to seller to make sure his claims about the domain are correct, this is totally unacceptable and should be dealt with harshly by DNF Admins.

Agreed. Caveat emptor. I still can't imagine after all this time that seasoned domainers here can still fall for that "traffic" trick. Traffic is so easily manipulated, I can send 10,000 "uniques" per day to any domain I want like cjrparuicvova.com, and sell you this for name for $50k and you would be a sucker to buy it.

I think you only have yourself to blame for this. The Internet is a very corrupt place. Grow up if you ever want to be successful in this game.

I wish I could send 10k uniques to somewhere everyday :p

(I don't own much traffic)

I'll agree with you here.

Traffic is the snake oil of domain names. When someone asserts high traffic on a $0 name, the BS detector should go off. In general, traffic should be considered worthless, until one understands the source and nature of the traffic (which is usually not easy to do).

The amount he paid for this name, is a low price for an important lesson.

Meanwhile, he should stay away from TV preachers and used car lots.

No longer but it was, you may ban me for that but not for being a scammer which i am not.

This is one possible course of action.

I don't think you really need to.

Just $10 and a paypal account.

Thanks everyone.

Although $150 is not a big sum of money but the idea here is to let the fellow members in this board to be aware.

I appreciate all the help and concern from fellow domainers whether via PM or giving advise in this thread.

I have sent email to iPBFree but receive no reply from him.

His name is Ted, admin from iPBFree.com

I will post again if he wish to solve this problem.

Thanks everyone.

Hi everyone,

Just an update. All problem regarding this has been successfully resolved.
Ted has compensated me with the loss.

Hereby I hope everyone give him a chance to stay in this board.

Ted had apologise for this incident on behalf of his partner's action and compensated me for the loss. He promised to follow the board's TOS from now onwards and will learn and work hard to be part of this professional community.

Since it is his partner's fault and he is willing to take the responsibility, he has apologised and willing to learn. Let's give him a chance.

I will PM dnforum management regarding this issue.

I appreciate and thank all for the concern of this matter.

Regards,
Neon
