OK it was yahoo hosting. It works now.

Most traffic comes from topproxysites and about 90% visitors bookmark us.
some comes from google and other search engines (China, Australia,..24 countries look at the stats: http://fastproxy.info/awstats_002.htm).

That is odd, it works when I click on the link.
It is .htm file with data folder and not image or screenshot.
I can email files to you if wanted or take screenshots of specific pages of stats.

I would have been interested in purchasing this domain, but here were my concerns:

1. It doesn't display hotmail pages too nicely
2. It doesn't seem to work with https
3. From the stats
- there are only three entry-point urls used (99% go directly to /index.php)
- 57.6 % of traffic gave a 404 error
- 29.5 % of traffic gave a 302 error

I have a proxy site myself (superproxy.com) and your figures don't add up
- I have people trying many different entry urls
- You have only 21 keyphrases from 9k uniques a day?

And the biggie: 59% of all visits are from 0 - 30 seconds.

I'd say you use bought traffic or script bots.
What do the rest of you think?

Thank you Shean for the analysis. I really never did analize the stats and I really need to start doing that with my websites. I'm fairly new in Internet (especially when it comes to website management), and owning a website (successful one anyway) really takes time and devotion, which I don't get much between my 8 months pregnant wife and 2-year old daughter.
That is why Fastproxy is for sale. I don't have time for it right now.

I purchased Fastproxy in december 2005 with I think about 300 hits a day. Fastproxy was already submitted to Google and other search engines when i bought it and traffic was just slowly getting bigger.
I don't know if it's normal for proxy to get such variety of users (24 countries) but they all weren't there when I bought it, you have a proxy site I don't know if you are willing to share some info with me becase like I said I'm ferely new to all that. I would appreciate it.

Hi fastproxy!

Oh yes, you'll be seeing people from all over the world when you run a proxy site - even Belize.

You will find that some people start using script bots to download image galleries and whole porn sites using your proxy so this is why I added a daily password to my site. It's not 100% foolproof but it helps.

I saw a proxy (I think it was named DeluxeProxy.com) get sold yesterday (within 26 minutes) for $6k - it was getting 8 milling page-views per month. This might be a good guide for pricing.

No, since I moved the site from yahoo hosting, stats are spread between two hosts. Also yahoo was blocking the scripts (I'm not sure for how long in April) so the stats are not what they were in March. New host is not showing anything yet even though Google adsense is showing average 194 impresions and revenue $0.54 average a day.
Fastproxy has been down before but it builds up fast, March stats show 78% visitors bookmark/add to favorite. In January it was 128%.

I think the price is decent if I didn't already have a proxy site i'd do it. People have to remember you are running whitefyre and not the cgi deal.
So of course some things are going to work differently. But, for not knowing what you are doing the site is "sharp".

I had a problem with some sites coming up so I switched to cgi and it seems to be working fine now. But, mine is going to be a pay proxy for customers vice free. But, I still like yours alot.
