And with £1 sterling at $2.07? I'm going to have to move to the US again.

lol - was just going to post about silver. diversification be damned. i've been 100% in commodities for over a year now and have been making a killing - well, as long as i ignore the erosion in actual purchasing power. but hey, if the fed can do it, so can i right?

its almost comical here in the usa. These talking heads come on CNBC and say things are great, economy booming, president says people are working, growth is good LOL LOL

then they cut rates back to back .............. sure, cut rates so oil can be higher than 95 a barrel, thats what everyone really wants..........

things are going down hill...,.

Yes it looks like bush is going to let big oil, bring down the markets here in the USA. But he was never a real brite guy to being with, he could easy bring the price of oil way down. All he has to do is push Iraq's oil out on the markets, till you get a price the markets can easy live with.

But as it is now he going to let big oil bring down, the best markets the world has ever seen bar none. He and the right is to worried about world war 3, and running to help the rich out in the CA fires. To insure they get money donations to their 2008 race funds, to bad they will not move that fast to help the poor ever.

With oil prices so high going into winter, people are very unlikely to spend lots of money on xmas. Many places make most of their money, during the xmas buying season every year. But that is unlikely to happen this year, as oil can and will go up at the wim of big oil.

Oil hit a all time high here, the cheap heating oil is $2.70 per gallon. That is sure to go up as the cold hits, kero is at $2.90 per gallon as well that a all time high. Natural gas went way up as well, so I'm pretty sure so did coal as well. They are all sure to go up, as winters cold takes hold as well, all the winter fuels was made before the per barrel price went so high even.

I bet bush and the right will not, care about the low income house holds. And will not help with any heating fuel funds, that is one great thing about clinton he always help with that. Now bush and the right don't care, but they give big oil big tax breaks to help them out.

bravo bravo

i agree

It is disgusting to see. Every turkey day my family and i go down to dish out food for less privileged people. My door is open all the time for someone in need.

I cant stand the fact that this country is all about money all the time. Anyone that can read tax code along with understanding business can see that there has been a gold road paved with pretty diamond lights for the rich. Its a shame.

He smiles about the price of oil...... has anyone gone shopping for food lately? Everything is up in price. 100 goes nowhere today.

He has said nothing about the price of oil, nothing. He will turn out to be the worst president of the usa history and he knows it. Complete Disaster
