Hey folks. This is worth the registration fee in terms of type in / PPC. I am curious to get your thoughts on what you think it's worth from a brand point of view / or any scarcity of authority names for feminine blogs.

yeah, depends on how it's used. Apparently Fem* has examples of working great in the market. I just noticed Femjoy.com who must be making a killing on their content subscriptions. They are Alexa: 1676.

>Must develop to realize any value.

That's a bit funny to me. That's like saying a prime real estate in New York on Fifth avenue must be developed to have real value, and only then it's worth something. That's kind of a redundant statement. Let's say it's a busy Manhattan corner space with great traffic potential. One can sell gum on the corner, or open a premium clothing store. Yes "it must be developed" - but in the meantime there are only so many corners on that block for potential store operators. <sigh> Thanks for the thoughts.

Think you missed the point....your domain is not considered "Prime Real Estate" by those who have appraised it. It's somewhere out on the suburbs whereby it's current value is low....but should you develop it then you could see the price increase.

Short of a sudden surge on female only blog sites, then as an undeveloped domain it has limited appeal.

IMO - it has a lot of potential for devolopment.

FemBlog - An erotic female blog, kinda like the Red Shoe Diaries (who remembers that series?).

FemBlog - A blog discussing women's issues today or events from a female perspective.

FemBlog - A blog / play on words w/ Austin Powers' FemBots.

You are right of course I didn't mean to say it's prime anything, but I didn't miss the point. I meant only in so far as to compare it to the vertical (fem) that it's in, which is limited. And online everything is a type-in or search away, not somewhere in suburbs.

It's certainly catchy and memorable. I like it a lot. The only problem is that I can't imagine anybody using it for anything that would be very profitable, so they wouldn't want to spend a whole lot on it.

I imagine it first and foremost as a feminist blog. It would be a perfect name for that. Failing that, just a blog that is directed at a female audience i.e. the blog version of Cosmopolitan. Not very profitable ventures, unfortunately, but if you market it and/or develop it a bit, it's catchy enough that it could catch on and get some real value.

Well, now I've seen what's on femmeblog. I find it odd that a porn site would have "blog" in the title, since it's not, you know, a blog. That's why I didn't imagine that this domain would be marketable as an "adult" site. I've never heard of a porn blog.

Porn blogs offer eye candy and pass affiliate id's to porn sites. That's how they make money.

Every industry has blogs, there just another CMS at the end of the day.
