Please appraise my latest acquisition; Ferrets.com. I just placed it with DS, so don't have detailed traffic stats, but it consistently had an Overture rating of over 400.

excellent name .. but the market's not exactly booming. you could be the everything ferret store ... food, cages little sweaters. i'd say high x,xxx - xx,xxx based on treaffic alone.

Hypothetical Question....

If you owned the name, would you:

1. Mine the traffic, via PPC?
2. Develop the name?
3. Forward to an affiliate program that pays 5%?
4. Create a forum, and link to the supply store?

Market may not be booming, but if developed, I believe you could make a nice income with it.
Think of all the ferret owners and how they only have to visit Ferrets.com to get all their supplies.

It's a one word .com and plural at that. Sweet name

2 or 4 would produce return traffic and enable you to link to 3 - could become the place for ferret owners to visit/discuss/trade etc.

It's a nice name, but like others say, the market isn't "booming". Still, with a name like that, you could pretty much corner the "Ferrets" market, and create a site fully dedicated to Ferrets.

In reality, undeveloped, at reseller level, I think it be lucky to get low $1k to $2k. Developed though... possibly $XX,XXX.
