Hi there,

I am new to the forum and have been a member of ******** for a long time so i am out here to test the water as it were. :heh:

Here are the 4 letter names i have

zorv.com
zurm.com
jecx.com ($40 a month parking)
ifzo.com
ibjo.com
ujum.com
woqo.com
yikz.com (as in yikes)

Any comments would be great. Assume traffic is about 100-300 per month for each apart from jecx.com which receives about 500.

Thanks for your comments
Kevin

I don't find any to be of high quality. All of them have what is usually considered "undesirable" letters however, the trend I've seen lately is resellers trying to pick up the remaining pronouncable 4 letter .coms between $25- $45 for names with the poorer letters or names that are conflicting phonetically i.e woqo can be confused with 'woco' 'woko'

ye, they have poor letters but pay for there reg fees on parking anyway. What would jecx.com be worth based on parking?

Where is the jecx traffic coming from, is that a typo for something?

Ahh... jecx is a typo for jeux, do you have the country origins for the site? With 109,000,000 results on google. That's probably a good name after all

i am not entirely sure where the traffic is coming from but there seems to be a company that has this name (no trademark issues - ive checked). Does namedrive allow you to see where traffic comes from?

How do they get that kind of traffic? and even with that how are they monetized?
I would love to know your secret as I have a number of similar LLLL.coms which are quite stale.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

jecx.com can't be a typo of jeux.com the 'c' and 'u' are way off! I can't figure out a suitable typo that could be bringing the traffic as most combinations are parked pages. You might want to park it on your own server and look at referrals.

basically i fiddle endlessly with the style of parking page and the subject of the parking page. I occasionally switch between namedrive and traffic club aswell. Most of the 4 letter names i have have great CTR.

If you believe the visitors to jecx.com will keep coming at the current rate and that your PPC provider will maintain current rates, I think you might be able to get between 5 and 10 times annual income.

This would work out at US$2400 to US$4800.

I'm rather surprised at the number of visitors it's getting, and you are getting a remarkably high earnings for the number of visitors compared to what I get for my 4 letter names. I assume this is due to being poker related links.

sometimes i get up to $5 a click on namedrive on some of my names. Id advise anyone with low parking revenue to use them as they are great

c and x are right by each other on the keyboard. It's more like typing bocx.com for box.com And I bet http://boxc.com/ is making coin.

I understand that.... but every typo combination I've tried is a parked name or doesn't resolve... and no typo combo makes sense in english, so traffic maybe foreign.... yet you have english poker stuff on it... and no typo combination has anything to do with poker hence my curiosity as to where the source of traffic is derived from... I have much better 4 letter combos in terms of letters or pronucibility or google results.... yet most don't get those kind of traffic... your name has no overtures... 700 google result (which is very low) and 124 links but from like 5 sites.... leaves alot of questions about traffic source
