I am first curious as to the perceived value of this domain as a domain.

I would also ask for feedback on an idea to take the domain and break it into sub domains for development as a for profit cooperative.

What I am thinking of is one of two ideas:
1) Sell sub domains by country and function (e.g., UK.Firms.Net and Law.Firms.Net)
2) Provide sub domains with a 10% interest in revenues generated from each sub to my company and a 10% general profit sharing fund for active sub domains (end of year distribution) and a time to site creation provision on each sub domain.

I can see several benefits to having a distributed network from Firms.Net including reliability, locality and several others.

While this group is primarily interested in buying domains, I am interested as to the group's reception and feedback on this idea.

Best,

Commerce

Its a prime generic name with lots of potential. I think your subdomain lease plan is very interesting and would like to hear a success story from you in the near future on it. Leasing a domain or even leasing subdomains is a superb plan in that A) you make a monthly income profit probably more than equal to a parked domain, and B) you keep the domain as it grows more valuable in the future.

On domain value alone i will apraise Firms.net at low XX,XXX and if you develop it offcourse much more.

GL,

John
