Hi,

Welcome to this FIRST Domain Lottery .

How does it work?
You can purchase a lottery ticket for only $5! Just make a $5 payment through PayPal to: payments@generalwebhosting.com stating that you want a lottery ticket and your DNForum.com username. Of course, making payments of over $5 will get you more tickets.

After 50 tickets have been sold, I will randomly select a winner by using http://random.org. Please be assured that I have no "ghost" or "shadow" account that will "win" this lottery.

Domains
These are the domains you can win; remeber this is ONE lottery; so you win ALL domains, not just one!

What if...
You win: I will push the domains to your Enom account
You loose: byebye $5
Not enough tickets are sold: Since this is a first in DNForum, I will take the heat for that. If this new idea really doesn't work, and only one ticket or so will be sold, I will give you your money back. You will only loose the PayPal fees for transferring money. *Sorry for that* If we almost reached the quota, the lottery will go on as planned...

I hope you like this idea! I will keep you informed on the amount of tickets sold. Please give this idea a chance!

I could do that... But what would be the DNF$ equal to $5?

I don't know, it would depend what you'd accept in terms of F$ in exchange for $5. I think that might encourage more people to participate, though..

seems to be pretty much even exchange rate of $1 DNF = 1 penny

So okay... DNF$500 will get you a ticket as well. :)

You could always do a Paypal refund within the first 30 days so the Paypal fee will not be lost. However, 50 tickets will be no problem with all the members on this forum. Good luck all!

You do realize that this is technically illegal in the US, right? Not that I care, mind you - just pointing it out.

Note:This forum is for domain name auctions only.

Since this is not an auction, then perhaps it should be moved.

Closed. This is not authorized by dnfourm and it is illegal to run a lottery with real cash.

Nice thought though :)
