Revenue: FirstAuction.com makes an average of $15 per day on an average of 100 clicks ($0.15/click) per day at TrafficZ. Four times annual revenue is just under $22,000. Five times annual revenue is just over $27,000.

The buy it now price is $30,000.

Bid increments are $100 minimum. All bids must be posted in this thread. No offers under $20,000 or over $30,000 will be accepted. No offers via email or PM will be accepted.

End of Auction :

(1)This auction will end on Saturday March 11 at 3:00:59pm US Eastern time/12:00:59pm US Pacific time. The highest bid posted at that time will be the winner and bound to the terms outlined below.

(2) This auction will end when a Buy It Now of $30,000 is posted AND $1000 non-refundable paypal or bank wire payment has been received within 24 hours. See terms below for more information.

(3) If no bids are received, we will relist the domain at a different forum with same terms.

History: This domain has a long history on the Internet. Barry Diller launched this site in the late 1990s to be the Internet arm of the Home Shopping Network. He invested a lot of money in the start up and even had a cross promotion deal with eBay. You might even find the eBay press release announcing the deal in a search engine.

In 2000 or so he closed the entire division, fired everyone and let the domain drop when I bought it at auction in 2001 or 2002. I will say for the record that we have NEVER been contacted by anyone claiming ownership or trademark rights to this domain or website when we had it developed rather than just parked.

We then developed FirstAuction.com to feature comparison shopping utilizing eBay, Amazon and other affiliates. The site had 25,000 unique visitors in March of 2005 according to sitemeter.com and it made A LOT of money. It had even MORE traffic in 2004! It was filtered out of Google in April 2005 but maintained 200 unique visitors a day for the rest of 2005.

We had been making $25 per day on the 200 (sitemeter.com) visitors as a developed site. We had some interested parties but they only wanted to know the parking revenue stats so it is now parked making $15 per day.

So you can park and expect $15 a day but if you want to develop and submit a re-inclusion request to Google, you just might make a lot more than that.

Terms: With any bid price and with buy it now, a non-refundable $1000 deposit via Paypal is due within 24 hours of high bid/purchase. If deposit is not received, non-payment notice will be posted and we will give under-bidder first refusal. If he/she is no longer interested, we will reopen bids and buy it now.

Payment in full in US funds (certified bank check or bank wire) is due by 5:00pm US Eastern time on Wednesday March 15. Should buyer fail to pay in full by payment deadline, he/she will forfeit their non-refundable deposit and any rights of ownership and auction will restart if under-bidder is no longer interested.

No appraisals. Transfer of domain to be made after payment in full. See my signature for more information about me.

Registrar: Domain is in my GoDaddy reseller account at Wild West Domains. It expires on June 19, 2006.

Summary: This is a good deal, especially if you think you can make more than $15 a day and/or $0.15 per click.
