Just got back.

It was a good show, smaller than Vegas, but with some real advantages.

People were really talking business!

In the early morning we went swimming in the ocean, which was very very warm. The Westin Diplomat is a very beautiful hotel.

What I've read, however, was pretty damned horrible. Seems many of the people got rip-roaring drunk, urinated in public in fancy hotels and million-dollar boats, had sex in public, and caused all kinds of problems.

I just think it gives us an even worse image than we already have. People already equate adult websites with child pornography and think that we all have those types of sites.

Agreed.

The adult industry needs to come together to protect our market. We need better PR and we need to do what Hef did 40 years ago: tell the world that sex is healthy.

When we appear abusive, dark, and seedy --we can only lose.

Well, if what I read is any indication, we now look a lot worse. We need to show that most of us (ok, many of us) are professionals with an open mind but our personal lives are not a reflection of our professional lives.

If they had an Internext in Boston or Providence I'd be there to market and shmooze. If I wanted to hang out with a bunch of loud, obnoxious, drunk, rude people, I'd go to a club in New Bedford
