Flashing envelope by Private Messages

I have a flashing envelope but no new msgs in my box?

Its minute, but a little annoying... would make sense to only show up when we have a new message.

I have a feeling someone was working on adding it and it had some glitches. One suggestion would be to make it so when it does not show up, the space before ____Private Messages doesn't show up there. Can be done by removing the height and width paramaters on the image in the conditional and uploading a 1x1 spacer image, or by adding an else condition with nothing when there are no new PM's.

It would be nice if it were a static image. I don't always read my PMs... (automated notifications about trader rating, etc). Having the flashing icon is annoying.

Have people really been missing their new PMs so much?

The greenish highlight alone seems to be enough of an indication that a new PM(s) is waiting ... but the flashing indicator is cool too though.

agreed.

A lot of pms can be read without ever actually "opening" them...the flashing envelope is a tad annoying.

are you sure you dont have any unread messages...i had the same problem yesterday but i just read all the messages..
