Okay, Mr. Sarcasm, I just meant that it's the first time, (that I'm aware of), that flickr has just crapped out so inelegantly, (without a "we are undergoing maintenance" message), for more that just a minute or two. I was wondering whether they were undergoing some sort a denial of service attack, that's all.

The site came back online after about 20 mins of displaying the "Connection refused" message.
