Kind of implying the applications by the thread title, but thanks, GD. :)

I think it's good to get a well known phrase, but it's hard to do something with one that means to cower.

I'm still wondering why a band named themselves shrinking violet, lol....

But that looks like a possible sale. Perhaps even 1k+ if they are signed.

Good luck!

Well, I never thought it meant "to cower" at all. I think its more about being "bashful" or "shy" (someone could be a "shrinking violet" but the courageous person in the world... just reclusive for other reasons). Its a cute concept really. When someone is a "shrinking violet", it basically means that they don't strive for the lime light. Taken from the flower which I *think* tends to shy away from sunlight.

So, the band is (I suppose) named because they probably have similar temperments expressed in their music.

Thanks, GD.

Very true

Hey, cool, I looked that one up once to see if it'd be possible for me to get. I think it's generally a low tier name, with potential wild card status if someone really wants it for some reason (and with the botany uses and band, etc. you never know). Definitely not one to sell to another name reseller, but a nice hold for a while.
