What value, do you think?
Foreign exchange name.
I also regged ForexTraderGuides.
Phrase 2,777 OVT.

Most of those people searching for "Forex Trader Guide" are looking for information on the Forex.com ForexTrader.

Can't really say. Has some good end user potential.

I guess I should then say "E-promote, are you stupid?"

I work in the finance sector. I know what I'm talking about.

So what, I've been an active trader since 98 and I have subscribers that pay for my picks...ladi frickin dah...

if you really knew what you were talking about you would not overvalue such a domain..simple math.

LOL

Ok I can keep my reasoning to myself then. You can stick to daytrading.

Teatime, if you want to sell the domain send me a PM. I will give you some solid leads.

A very poor 3 returns for the term in G using quote marks.

Sorry, I would have to say it's value is $100 or less, undeveloped. More if developed.

P.S. The G results mean it is an obscure and little know term, having little to do with actual traffic but indicating almost no typein traffic would be likely and almost no SE searches being performed.

Seems that the traffic posse is on the loose tonight. Open your eyes people. Domains are not being sold on traffic alone.

A 4 word domain related to finance was sold for $4,500 recently. A 4-letter .net related to FOREX sold for $3k. And I regret selling a 4-letter .com for $800 some 4-years ago; today it's a major FOREX gateway.

Hi Trader,
Thank you - I noted that the Google results were very thin, also...although there were several sponsored ads.
My question is, then , does the overture count mean anything in this case? Is it because they use an algorithm that can be faulty?
I'm not arguing, just truly am trying to learn ........ teatime

The individual words are good, 2 of the words are excellent, it's just that the combination of the 3 words and the term is not common even though they are well recognized words by traders.

Yes, I noticed that too where there were far more sponsored Adwords links than Google returns, 32 ads vs 3, which I believe is very unusual and I do not recall ever seeing that before. The fact there are so many paid ads indicates the words are valuable to advertisers and a developed site would have good potential.

About Overture, I do not discuss that aspect anymore so ask Radistar about it since he seems like such an expert on this kind of name and he is sure it is worth $3K or more.

Thanks, all, for the helpful advice.
Wanted to let you know that I did throw together a very quick site for it this morning,
www.ForexTraderGuide.com
Now, of course, need to add lots more original content, and exchange links and do SEO, etc., etc.
...... maybe add a related RSS feed, too....
