After a lot of thinking I have made the difficult decision to sell most of my websites; the Hideout Sites Network. The HSN revolves around the main site, ForumsPlace, a highly rated, high ranking free forum hosting site, along with a couple secondary service sites and a bunch of support sites for boosting traffic and ranking. Most of these sites are tied together in one way or another. The directory of hosted forums is replicated on most of the sites to boost traffic and link pop. A Reciprocal Manager script ($69 license included) is used to run link exchanges on all sites.

ForumsPlace.com (PR5) - Free Forum Hosting ALEXA TOP 10K!
ForumsPlace is a free phpBB forum hosting service established in January and officially launched in February. Since then ForumsPlace has grown to nearly 7,000 hosted forum with 96k members and over a million posts. A big part of the rapid growth is due in part to extensive search engine optimization, both for our main site, and phpBB itself. Our SEO has paid off' currently ranking #1 in Google for six common search phrases, and 17 in the first page on MSN. ForumsPlace has several DMOZ listings, one for our main site, and three for our hosted forums. Traffic is high; for the month of June to date averaging over 620k pageviews and 9k uniques PER DAY! Our forums are advertising supported, and like the traffic, revenue is growing too. The script is based on the sebflipper script which has been largely rewritten to include using separate databases, and other usefaul admin features. All hosted forums are published in our online directory, which is replicated across many of our sites further boosting link popularity and search ranks. ForumsPlace offers over 300 styles and over 25 pre-installed phpBB mods on ALL FORUMS, meaning a LOT of template editing has been done on this site. Includes 7 parked domains!

ForumsPlace Stats Summary:

Month Unique Visits Pages Hits Bandwidth
May 2005 236101 570018 12237189 70563289 186.15 GB
Jun 2005 158961 382988 10683631 51384766 169.15 GB

Income: $650/mtd (Adsense/Adbrite/Independent)

Linkpop: 25,921
Alexa: 6,675

JustNutty.com (PR1) - Free e-Mail Hosting
JustNutty is our new free e-mail service that we recently launched in response to ForumsPlace customer demand. JustNutty runs off of SocketMail lite (license included, $130 value) and includes the optional WAP module. JustNutty offers members 100MB free e-mail/file sharing account with a choice of 15 domain names and integration with ForumsPlace hosted Forums. Traffic is relatively light; 800-1k page views per day, and revenue is zero since we don't run ads. JustNutty shares domain names with ForumsPlace allowing hosted forum admins to get matching e-mail addresses. Comes with 6 additional parked domains, including wskq.com, a 4 letter domain for a radio station in New York City! Linkpop: 719

ThePixPlace.com (PR5) - Free Image Hosting
ThePixPlace, based on the K-tools image hosting script (License included, $295 value) was launched in September of 2004. ThePixPlace offers free and paid image hosting. We have about a dozen paid hosting customers bringing in about $100 per month, and a few dollars more in ad revenue. Traffic for June includes 114k page views and 15k uniques. ThePixPlace has been customized to allow for complete integration with the Windows XP Web publishing wizard and is currently the only image hosting site (I'm aware of) that offers that feature. Other custom enhancements include image watermarking, e-mail capabilities, and photo albums. MMS image uploads are also offered, although the feature does not work on all carriers. ThePixPlace is also integrated with ForumsPlace allowing ForumsPlace hosted forum members instant image uploads. Linkpop: 17,452

GhostChronicles.com (PR5) - Ghost Stories Site
I purchased GhostChronicles last Auguest with the intentions of growing it into a major ghost stories resource. Due to the lack of time I have not had the chance to do anything with it. It's main function is a AWS script that has resulted in a few dollars in Amazon sales, and over 9k pages indexed in google. Linkpop: 6,796

EmailOrbit.com (PR5) - Check any E-mail Account
Visitors can check virtually any e-mail account at EmailOrbit. This site was purchased about 4 months ago as our attempt to get into the free e-mail circuit prior to launching JustNutty. EmailOrbit is powered by (DwMail, license included). Revenue is a few dollars per month, stats are broken for June for some reason, but in May it received 535 uniques and 3600 pageviews. Linkpop: 9,726

LotsaFonts.com (PR4) - Free Fonts
Orignally based on a Turnkey font site, LotsaFonts was redeveloped last fall and now includes over 3,500 fonts available for download. Traffic has dropped off since I diverted attention to ForumsPlace and the other companion sites. June stats include about 1,800 uniques and 24k pageviews. Income from Adsense is about $10-25 per month, but used to be much more. Linkpop: 8,284

GhostlyFonts.com (PR4) - Free Halloween Fonts
Created last year just in time for Halloween, GhostlyFonts offers an exclusive assortment of free halloween fonts. Income is negligible, and traffic this time of year is minimal, 2-4k pageviews per month, with almost 9k last October. Linkpop: 1,327

pixpile.com (PR4) - Free Image Hosting with no Registration
I created this site from scratch using a $5 template monster template. The backend is fully custom, but the administration panel was never finished. Pixpile was hosting hundreds of images and used 24GB of bandwidth in May until we wiped out most of the images to reduce resources. May stats had 3k pageviews and 25GB of bandwidth used. Revenue is zero. Site will be not be finished before being sold. Linkpop: 331

jokeaddiction.com (PR4) - Free Jokes
JokeAddiction is a modified turnkey jokes site featuring over 500 jokes, plus a bit of SEO, and a fully integrated phpBB backend. The site makes little to no money, and only gets a little over 5k pageviews per month. Linkpop: 6,483

comiccrew.com (PR0) - Free Jokes
Another turnkey jokes site with the same jokes from JokeAddiction, but a different look and different SEO methods. Very little traffic, no revenue. The domain name is worth more than the site! Linkpop: 33

quick-approvals.com (PR0) - Credit Card Site
This is the latest site that I was prepared to launch, it's complete and up to date. The site cost $300 originally, and all you need to operate it is an affiliate ID form NCS Reporting.

hslegalforms.com (PR1) - Legal Forms
Simple, turnkey legal forms site. Little traffic, no revenue. Linkpop: 63

ezprophoto.com (PR0) - Stock Photos (Partially Developed)
Turnkey stock photo site that I planned to develop. Some of the photos are my own, others were included with the site based on the k-tools stock photo site ($295 license included). Full resale rights on the photos is included. Linkpop: 0

top10fonts.com (PR0) - Free Fonts Top Site (Not Developed)
top10fonts was started with the idea of putting together a free fonts top site. Included is a autorank pro license (if they can be transferred). The domain name alone is worth a few $$. There is basically no traffic and no income. Linkpop: 1

Extra domains included: hscheats.com, hscheats.info
These were originally going to be used for a turnkey cheat code site, but it never materialized.

Hosting:
ForumsPlace, ThePixPlace, and JustNutty are currently hosted on a LiquidWEB dedicated server for $269 a month and will be transferred as part of the sale. The remainder of the sites are hosted on a Site5 reseller and may remain until 8/1 then must be transferred to a host of the buyers choice.

More Information
This sale includes 34 domain names (some really good), and almost $1,500 in scripts. It also represents thousands of man hours of custom programming and development. I'm currently only looking to sell all sites listed here together. I have an offer on the table already of $20k for ForumsPlace,ThePixPlace, and JustNutty, but I would prefer to sell them together. Offers over $20K please. BIN is set at $22k, and if used will include an extra year of domain registration on ALL DOMAINS plus I'll cover escrow costs, AND throw in one more partially developed site; iGoChat.com with a 100 user DigiChat license ($600 value). Since this is a large transaction, I am insisting on using escrow.com at buyers expense (except at BIN).

Please PM or e-mail me at [email protected] for more details, including a complete domain list, proof of income, etc.

If you're willing to split the lot, I'm interested in purchasing GhostlyFonts individually.

Is this possible or do you want all of the sites to go together?

What is the BIN for ForumsPlace.com alone? How much traffic to the main domain without the subs?

As I said I'm going to try to sell the whole lot, since the sites are linked together and share PR as well as the forum directory. Should I only sell the big three sites, I will split up the rest.

At the very least ForumsPlace MUST be sold with ThePixPlace and JustNutty since both services are integrated directly with the hosted forums.

The traffic stats I quotes were just for the forumsplace.com site:

Month Unique Visits Pages Hits Bandwidth
May 2005 236101 570018 12237189 70563289 186.15 GB
Jun 2005 158961 382988 10683631 51384766 169.15 GB

Since I already have an offer of 20k on the table, I would set a BIN for those three sites at 25k.

That says you still haven't decided but for now you're NOT selling them seperate correct?

Sorry just trying to get a clear picture so I know whether or not to bother checking this thread anymore. Would be easier to just decide one way or the other and stick with it.

Thanks,

GB

I have clearly stated in the first post that I am selling all of the sites together. I also stated that I have an offer on the table for three of the largest, but that I would rather sell them all together. I then told you in my last post that should I sell the big three to the current bidder, I will seperate the rest.

Where am I not being clear?

I will be closing this sale on Wednesday 6/22 10am EDT.

Good luck with the sale, Steve.

If its OK, I'd like to vouch for the seller. He has worked with me on another project for a couple of years and is very professional to deal with, writes excellent code, and is very trustworthy to do what he says.

If the large 3 web sites are sold, I would be very interested in buying a few of the smaller sites. Thanks! Good luck with the big sale :)

I will definately be interested in parting out the sites at some point.

BIN is now lowered to 22k!
