.fr domains

I live in canada....and I want to buy a .fr domain? I am in the middle of completing the transaction however it says that I must be a registered business in france. Should I ignore this? Will I get sued if I still register the domain? - Newbie

By LAW, you can't register the .fr extension if you don't have business connected in France.
