Escrow.com is unsafe and has no controle over domain names.

Hi guy's i done a deal through escrow.com i sold a domain name for $x,xxx the domain name was ment to be transferd from my moniker account to the buyers moniker account. The buyer paid escrow.com escrow.com confirmed the has paid and for me to transfer the domain to the buyer. I transferd the domain to the buyers moniker account after like 4 days he said he did not want the domain because he needs it transfering to enom fast but he would not transfer it back then after like 7 days he told me he transferd it to my account and then the next thing i know is it was at enom.com register under his name then he changes his enom whois to private. And claims he does not have the domain in his account.

Escrow does not beleive me and they are holding the funds i need real help.

Ive always said escorw.com is the worst system in place for domain names, they dont protect you as you have been targeted for this fraud.

SEDO is always the best option. Hope you find a way around this. What is the domain name?

This is a tough one, this is where problems come in when the escrow company doesn't take control of the domain name

That sound horrible! Yes people can still pull a scam or two using Escrow.com, i had a guy who stole domains at Enom, sold them to me, i was about to release the money and Enom removed the domains from my account without even telling me.

I found out from SEDO of all places! Because they would not accept the domains. Luckily Escrow did not release the funds.

Now in your case you should ring Escrow.com up and point out the domain is no longer in your account, and make sure they do not return the money until you have sorted this out.

This is fraud straight up, im pretty sure Escrow have accesss to the police/FBI, they did in my case, so suggest this to them, that you want an investigation.

Forget emails BTW, phone them and speak to a case manager ASAP.

Thanks guy im never using escrow.com again looks like i might have lost. Moniker are getting me documents on what moniker domain account transferd the domain name.

I just had a chat with escrow.com what they are saying is when i get my moniker report even if it says that the buyer transferd the domain name to his enom account . that i will still have to then pay for 3rd party or a lawyer what a joke i thought you use escrow.com to be protected from domain theft.

For some odd reason I have never been able to figure out why domainers are slow to post scammer details and are often very reluctant to post the domain name or the other parties name. Have no idea why but it's a common occurence on the forums. Maybe someone knows why?

P.S. What is the persons name?

Yes thats because i had it parked at parked.com he just keped the dns the same.

Its at my parked account he has not changed the DNS

I can not believe theirs nothing escrow.com can do i hope moniker and enom can work it out what happend and get me the domain name back.
So far moniker are the only people who are helping my. My guess is maybe their is a bug in the moniker account and if you start a transfer to another register then transfer it to another moniker account after 5 to 7 days then even when in another moniker account the domain will the still go to enom without the moniker registers actions.

Ok, that makes sense. Also WHOIS shows, "Domain not found."

enom.com seems to be the mainframe for scam artist, most domains stolen end up or are from enom.com

I don't understand how if you transfered it from one Moniker account to another...it got moved out of Moniker...what about the so many days before a domain can be transfered or moved???

how did Moniker let the domain go? Did you push the domain?

I also thought Moniker can request the domain back within so many days.. why would Enom.com and Moniker not just look at the Escrow.com deal and come to agreement... Its not like there isn't a record of all the transaction.

strange

James try the Enom section on here if there is one???

James I said I thought they could...not 100% sure, but worth checking into it.

Did you push or transfered the domain from one Moniker account to another?

how enom got access to the domain is the question you need to be asking, if the domain was pushed to a moniker account, how was he able to make the transfer from one registrar to the other so quickly? it usually takes 4-8 days

24 hour domainer yer thats what im asking i have requested them details from moniker they should have them very soon. But what my point is ,is escrow.com said even if them details prove the buyer transferd the domain to enom.com i would still need a lawyer lol and they still can not give me the money lol so the thing is a joke.

Escrow.com try and reasure you and then when things go wrong they tell you its out of their hands its between you and the buyer. Thats what makes me sick you are on your own so why pay for escrow.com service i wish a found this out a lot sooner it would of saved me a lot of money and stress.
Thats why i posted here for the best help and advice their is DNForum.com thanks guys i hope i do not lose but i got a feeling i will lose.
