<p>I have been tracking the .si market for a while because there was no public comparables list for it, and the tracker turned into a tool worth sharing.</p><p></p><p>What it does: you type a name and get registry-accurate availability plus a value range with the comparables that produced it. The sales table behind it holds 461 reported .si sales across ten venues, 161 of them verified against a receipt or a venue's own published results. Asking prices are never counted as sales, and every row keeps its source.</p><p></p><p>Numbers worth knowing if you follow ccTLDs: median tracked sale $1,500, average $4,197, largest $84,000. A low median with a long tail is what a young market looks like, which is also why the middle of .si is still buyable at registrar prices.</p><p></p><p>The appraisal is transparent rather than clever: six components (word shape, pronounceability, real-word vs brandable, category activity, extension momentum, closest comparables) rolled into five bands, and the report shows a range rather than a single number. It says so out loud when a name is too short, too random or has comparables that are three years old.</p><p></p><p>Free, no account. There is also a JSON API at ten requests an hour on the free tier if anyone wants to script their own checks.</p><p></p><p>If any row looks wrong to you, tell me — a corrected row is more valuable than an argument.</p><p></p><p>https://worthly.si/?utm_source=dnforum&utm_medium=thread&utm_campaign=worthly_launch</p>

Thanks, doctor-ray — glad it reads well.

One thing changed since I posted it: the comps table just crossed 300 tracked sales, and the spread got wider rather than narrower. The median sits at $2,700 and the top sale is now $84,000. That long tail is the reason the report gives a band instead of a single number, and says so out loud when the closest comparables are stale or when a name is too random for the model to say anything useful.

If you happen to hold .si names, run one through and tell me whether the band feels right or too wide. Disagreement from someone who actually trades is the most useful feedback the model can get — a corrected row beats a compliment.

Useful tool, thanks for building it. The sales registry is the part I keep coming back to, since it's the only place I've seen .si comps pulled together with dates and venues. I've just listed a few of mine there (preflight.si, authorship.si, voci.si). One suggestion: a flag for non-English dictionary words would help, because names like voci.si (Italian for voices) seem to get read as random letters.

Thanks for the note, Ahmed — and for listing those three. Preflight and authorship both read as real words to me; voci is the interesting one, because it is a full Italian word and the tracker scored it off the English dictionary it was built from.

That is exactly the gap the flag would close, so I have queued it: a language tag on the name, so a non-English dictionary word stops being treated as a random string and the comparables set is drawn from the right neighbourhood. It is not live yet — I would rather ship it when it actually changes the band than flip a switch.

On the sales registry side: preflight.si, authorship.si and voci.si are all in the for-sale list now, so anyone checking a .si comp from here on sees your names sitting in the same table as the sold ones.

If you run one of them again once the tag lands, tell me whether the band moves — that will tell us faster than anything else whether the fix did what it should.

Appreciated, and good call holding the language tag until it actually moves the band. I'll rerun voci once it lands and post what changes. A few more of mine are going through the free listing today (costing, livelihood, parenthood, mentorship among them), so the for-sale table should get a bit fuller.

Update for anyone following this thread — a few things changed since I posted it.

The sale index now holds 461 reported .si transactions (median $1,500; 42% close under $1,000 and about 4% clear $20,000). Each row keeps its venue and source visible, so you can filter to venue-published rows and see how the median moves.

The new part is Daily gems: fifteen .si names that are still unregistered, checked straight against the ARNES registry, each with an independent estimate and a link to register. When one gets taken it is marked sold for fifteen minutes and the next name takes the slot.

worthly.si/gems

Two things I would rather be told than find out later: whether the sub-$1,000 band is a real market or just illiquid names with a nice story, and whether anyone here has sold a .si through a registrar rather than an auction — that split would tell me more than another average.
