Here's the deal ...

I am giving away asp4webmasters.com, which makes about 3-4 bucks a month in PPC rev, to the first person who makes a $10 donation to ONE.org by ordering either a ONE tee-shirt or a 10-pack of ONE wristbands.

If you're not familiar with ONE.org, think Bono (U2). The ONE Campaign is a well coordinated effort to help the poorest people in the world overcome the horrors of global AIDS, hunger and extreme poverty. And it's beginning to deliver breathtaking results!

In actuality, ONE.org doesn't even solicit cash donations. They're all about consciousness-raising and global activism, which is desperately needed right now. However, by simply wearing the tee-shirt or wearing/sharing the wristbands, you can make a difference. It would be cool, as well, to become further involved by displaying a ONE banner on your site(s).

So, the first person who emails me the e-receipt you'll receive from ONE.org gets the domain pushed to your Dotster account. Send it to me at sales @ promediary.com. In fairness, I will promptly post that the domain has been claimed as soon as I receive verification.

If this works out, I'll probably repeat this offer from time to time with some other domains.

NO problem. I would have infact liked to support BOno's movement for helping the poor. I really liked that. I read that in newsweek also a couple of months back along with Bill gates mission to help the poor.
In addition to helping I got the tshirt and the domain name which was the best part.

It's pretty easy to become involved, Laxmi. ONE.org is a global consciousness-raising humanitarian movement which asks nothing more of its supporters than to become familiar with its mission, upon which the very lives of millions upon millions of impoverished, fundamentally helpless people are at stake. Brian Williams (NBC Nightly News), who is anchoring his nightly newscast from Africa this week, reported last night that 9,000 die each day from hunger and AIDS. And that alone, is a wake-up call for all of us privileged enough to take our daily meals for granted.

Getting involved is as simple as visiting the ONE.org site, signing the global declaration, joining the mailing list (they don't bombard you) and staying aware of the crisis in Africa. That's it. They don't even solicit cash donations ... although I stubbornly sent them some money anyway

I would ask -- no, urge -- all of my friends in the domain community to visit ONE.org on the Web and stay in-tune with the news of their progress. ONE.org IS making a difference. And that's worth shouting about!
