What's with all the noob friend requests?

Why send out a request to be someones... 'friend' ...when you have never had any contact with them, and only been around for a week or two?

Pack it in!

Some people think that it will help their reputation?

I don't want any friends.

My goal is to be on every one's blocked list.

That way when I post something, I don't have to read the responses.

You can't buy friendship, you have to deserve it :)

Having friends is cool, and well it's just down right friendly to be friends. :)

They maybe think this is Facebook

A Platinum Member that requested "friendship" seems to be going for "Exclusive Member Friends" or mod/admin..out of 18 "friends only 2 Platinum and no Gold and only trader rating comes from DNF$ sales...I'll pass for now

My 2 cents

Aww....how Schweet!

A Be My Valentine request.

I heard there is a mystic power that one can be achieved upon having completed adding 10000 friends request. Other than that, there is nothing special about adding friends.

Well may be some friends will buy your next domain, but most likely they will try selling you a goofy .whatever domain instead. :)

Yes, but even on Facebook, would you accept the friend request of a complete stranger? I know I wouldn't.
I have not even befriended people on DNF that I know since years, that is probably laziness, or don't really understand the whole function. If at least I would get a notification when a friend posts a new thread it would make sense.
