That is huge!! Kudos to the domain holder for waiting for so long to get the perfect money for the domain.

This domain was not purchased in 1999.
This domain was registered in 1999
and $70 was the standard registration fee for the first two years, i.e. $35 per year.
Thousands of other domains were registered at the same time and expired, because nobody needed them. And they also paid the same fee.
