Please Appraise Gelatin.us.

I know that it might get criticized because it's a .us, I thought I'd post it anyway to get some feedback. We might have some .us enthusiasts out there.

Gelatin.com and Gelatin.biz are functioning sites selling/promoting Gelatin. Gelatin.org is one of Ultimate Search's sites.

According to suggestiontool.com, There were 7118 searches for Gelatin in January 2003. I'm not sure if suggestiontool gets its search numbers from overture.com alone or from overture plus other search engines. That's all I have to say.

I appreciate the feedback - Dr. Who. I guess I should expect some negative comments and not get mad about it. Dr. who may not have any customers for the domain, but I think that there are definitely some customers out there for this domain.

Examine Gelatin.com, Gelatin.biz, etc. to see the practical and commercial application of this domain in the real world. The only thing that may hurt the name is the uncertainty of the .us extension.

All appraisals are appreciated, but a little research on the internet can easily open your eyes to the potential of a domain name like Gelatin.us. Just take a look at Gelatin.com or Gelatin.biz and the real world application of Gelatin.us becomes obviously apparent.

Also, it pays to do a little TM research at http://www.uspto.gov.

In this case, Gelatin is trademarked. But the TM deals with writing instruments, pens, pencils, etc. Writing pens, pencils etc - is in a totally different industry than Gelatin that you eat or use for other purposes.

So selling Gelatin.us to an end user who will use the site to sell/promote gelatin that you eat or use for other purposes is not likely to produce any TM infringement situation. In all likelihood, there would be no customer confusion with the TM version of Gelatin and the Gelatin.us website plus products sold from Gelatin.us.
