Interesting. Jet Ski may have lost trademark rights as a result. The problem is that you might have to litigate it in order to achieve that kind of ruling.

Genericide is an exaggerated phenomenon that trademark attorneys use to sell their clients on unnecessarily aggressive enforcement campaigns.
