Getting Sponsors?

I own www.vgaccess.com/forum and the main focus of it is to give points to people for posting which they can trade in to get prizes and/or money. So far I have only been able to give stuff out of my own pocket (it actually worked well) and I was wondering if anyone knew of any ways to get sponsors that would send members products for me.....

In the past I have written letters to webmaster's of certain sites describing the service I offer and my site. I then ask for sponsorship and in return tell them what I am willing to do for them. Most of the time is worked.

Others you can visit their site and they will usually have a contact us section that will give an option for sponsorship. Just drop them a line.
