Hi everyone. Can someone tell me if there is a "glossary" of terms specifically related to the domain name industry?

Most of the terms that I've read in the forum are mostly understandable, but there are others that go right over my head. For instance "type ins" is driving me nuts. What are they and how do they relate to our activity?

Thanks,

Thanks for the info. I guess I should have phrased my question more appropriately. I understand that it is something that is "typed in." What I should have asked was how to determine "type in" stats? In other words where does this information orginate from?

Thanks,

Try this link: http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion

for monthly searches on words; try domains and then domains.com as examples.

also there is a glossary of domain terms at: igoldrush.com

hope this helps.

Yes, it does. I use the OV suggestion tool frequently but didn't realize that it's the OV stats that are called "type ins."

Thanks again,
