Hi,

one of gmail accounts has been 'disabled'.
The account itself sounds great, and I wonder if that is the reason it has been disabled.

I have barely used the account, although I log onto it every other day.

No spam, nothing involved!!!

Google's support send me here:

http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/request.py

Which only shows the main gmail entrance, although they said thats were you get support.
Can anyone help me in anyway???

Thanks!

Gmail accounts 'wide open to exploit'

thanks, I was not aware of that.

But I dont see why anyone would want to exploit my account?
All other work fine, except that this one is a great email.

Where does one get gmail support?

This is nuts.
I was relying so much on that email.

I have the same problem - the email return has a reference number, can't see the point of that if it was solely an automated reply.

so.....

gmail sucks.
Thats what I have to say.

I had one of the best 'email' keywords.
It was taken because google felt like it.
not good.

Actually it was a free invite for a trial service - it hasn't officially been launched yet, I guess Google could delete them all if it wanted to and just say "Thanks - trial over". What's more nobody said we could have more than one!

Gmail lacks options.. I mean a simple option to set number of thread diplayed on one page cant be that hard? or even the option of delete forever instead of move to trash then goto trash then delete forever... Sucks when you have 4K emails and it would take 49 hours to delete it all.

yes. You are right.

Its sad though, I had such a great email name.
At least they should have had the decency to say so.
Many people, few real humans, at least as defined by Plato and Aristotle...
Sad...

I had the email address "[email protected]" I log in and it says "account disabled" I too have tried everything but nothing works..~!

Humm.. I still have purchase@ .. wonder how long before i loose that? lol

they are obviously taking back any good sounding email.

A shame. They started out on the right track (as google and gmail).
Now?
Another company that will probably be forgetten in a couple of years.
Mark my words.
Google will be history in 2 years.
Not because of this, but, same old, same old...
Next person with a better way of doing it will kill em.

good luck.

all you will get is the link I gave out.
