gmail spam

is it just me, or did gmail's spam filters crap out?

I am getting slammed with spam since last night...

I don't get spammed, only 1-2 spam per 5 days an dthis is going to the spam folder

NO problems here, except that some of my valid emails go into the Spam folder at certain times that I receive large volumes of mail.

The only exception seems to be Domainsbot mails which still manage to sneak in the my inbox even with specific filters in place.

But then its still in Beta so I hope they iron this out.

I also get loads of SPAM. I use the report button, but I keep gettting the same crap over and over.

They should put some kind of blocking or bouncing feature.

My point is that I usually get a trickle of spam in my inbox, but in the last day I have gotten hundreds.

I got so much spam, but miraculously it all goes to the SPAM folder, i must get atleast 1mb worth of spam each day.

1mb woah!!! I get like only 500kb of spam every month!

Yeah Gmail caught all of mine also which is very good!

Per day??? I get that per month. MovieDomains must have signed up to all wierd sites or something!

All I have to say is hotmail is the worst, I get around 15 - 20 spam emails per day with 500 domains blocked in options.

Well why are you still using it? Also what servoce is it?

Hotmail is very hard (very good) and so is AOL.

For most of that time it was tied to my business. I am trying to phase it out, but there are still a lot of legitimate people/clients/potential clients who try to contact me there.

I have to say GMail spam filter sucks. Hotmail is very hard (very good) and so is AOL.

Up until the other day, gmail did an excellent job for me. It's like it totally reversed itself - it used to filter 95% of spam, now it filters 5%.

I guess I gotta try to figure out their support system...
